OK, I'm starting to love Dodge's advertising-response to PETA

I'd usually put the video in, but I gotta ask you to check out the whole article on Jalopnik. Long story short- they had a mediocre ad where a monkey in an Evil Kneivel costume set off some fireworks. PETA complained so they just digi'd out the monkey so the costume still walks up and throws the detonator. (Watch both versions in the link)

Some great Challenger ads, culminating with the George Washington ads. Then the print ad for Challenger with George Washington with the caption "What you buy because you can't buy a bald eagle". Then a complete middle finger to PETA when all the other advertisers run around scared (as PETA's press release points).

Lord I hate PETA.

Their ads of scantily clad women piss me off..its not ok to use or "disrespect" animals..but women are JUST FINE.

Maybe we should put the hard core PETA activists on a boat..and then have the Navy sink it.

I like it, I think my version would be to put them on an African game preserve with a shotgun and see if the natural hunting instinct kicks in before they starve or get eaten by the lions.

Besides, save for some of the sick bastards you'll see on the news, the way we hunt our prey is a lot more humane than the way animals do it to each other. :\

How would you guys rather go? Eaten alive by a Cougar or nailed in the head by a captive bolt and knocked out instantly, while not even knowing what you're there for? Hmm...

Anyway, Dodge gets props. I'm loving their advertising lately.

PETA would probably hate me, since I've eaten clam so fresh, it was still moving when they served it to me, and a good while after that.
