Cars and Coffee v.8.07 *8C, Balboni, Italia, Tucker, DeSoto, Acid edition*

Why such a long title for the first of only two Cars and Coffee shows this month you may ask. Well it is because those are the cars that stood out to me the most.

The 8C denotes the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione which is a much drooled over car which I simply find to be 'meh'. The Balboni of course stands for the Lamborghini Gallardo 570-2 Balboni edition which was built in honor of Lamborghini's tamed test driver who has tamed more bulls than the most famous of Spains matadors. The Italia is of course Ferrari's new hotness the 458 Italia which replaces the much better looking, in my opinion, F430. The Tucker well every one knows about the story of Tucker and the evil Big Three! DeSoto well that's a much forgotten about brand under the Chrysler group that has long ago gone the way of the Dodo but managed to produce some beautiful rebadges. Last, but not least we have Acid, which comes from the Cadillac Deville Brougham customized by someone who obviously had plenty of it! That car is something you'd expect to see at Burning Man and not at something like Cars and Coffee though it was awesome to see.

As always remember that you can feel free to copy and paste this post on your favorite forum, oh and if you don't have any friends you can friend us on FACEBOOK.

Oh yeah and remember THERE WILL BE NO CARS AND COFFEE ON AUGUST 14TH OR THE 21ST.

Here are this weeks picks of the pics *click-able thumbnails as always*:

Other than the fact that it looks to have a big block and set up to look like an old drag racer. Nope! The guy always arrives late and just drives through the lot.

awww...
...you didn't post the iconic 56 and 57 Chevy Bel Aires that were there.

This seemed like a 2010 Camaro Weekend; there were at least 6 or 8.
I think they scared off all the older Mini Coopers that my wife was hoping to see.

Addendum.

OK, I sit corrected; I see the 56(?)

They might be in the gallery. Not sure. But I've seen them a ton of times so...
