Go with the Challenger because it looks better. Although, the Mustang does outperform it ... oh wait, you said you didn't care about such things.
Seriously though, if you don't care about looks or performance get the Challenger. The Mustang won't have nearly as nice a ride as the Challenger and I'm pretty sure the Challenger comes with more features and such than a similarly priced Mustang. Overall, the Challenger is going to be easier to live with than a Mustang.

If you want a car that you feel totally 'connected' to the driving experience, get the GT and never look back... and get a minivan for hauling the kids, dogs, etc. and if you want a cushy ride............ If you want a single car that is good at many things……looks great, has moderate performance, mediocre handling from the factory, and great convenience, the RT is for you.....

Chrysler will not exist in a few years. Go with the brand that will be around.

They are so different cars, it's hard to compare. Although they are both "muscle cars" or more appropriately "pony cars", although only Mustang still qualifies to be in this category (based on size), they are so different in experience.
The Challenger is a akin to a cruiser like a Harley Davidson, and the Mustang is more like like a sports car/sports bike. The Camaro SS is in between (IMO). |

Best answer yet! They are both so different the one that suites you best should easily jump out in a testdrive especially since you already have the SS.

The Mustang is the all around superior car |

I just got back from checking out a Challenger RT it was pretty nice!!! A little dissapointed with the engine but that interior and exterior is freakin awsome!!!! It has a nav and a custom shift nob! Love the ride and comfort.

I said I don't care between the looks of the two or the performance because of the fact that both are good in those catagories!!!!
