Unforunately, I had to make a TOUGH choice
Due to the unavailability of the Camaro Convertible and my inabilitiy to sit in one without brushing my head against the roof (6'5", mostly torso) even without the sunroof, which I'd prefer....I had to take the path to the dark side.
I ordered my 2011 Candy Apple Red Mustang GT California Special Convertible yesterday and it's killing me. Please no flames, I feel bad enough already, but hopefully in 2 years, I'll have it traded in and have a nice new 2012/2013 Camaro. In pennance, I'll still be here reading and drooling over the car I WANT rather than the car I hope to enjoy in the interim. I've now done my public confession, please stay your hands and go lightly with the whip! Tib

Cancel the order! I'm 6'3 and have plenty of room! Mess with the seat a little. You'll fit. I have plenty of leg room in the Camaro also.

Yeah.. I was worried about head room too but very easily the seat lowers to a point where there is plenty of extra head room. Head room shouldn't be the reason to go to the dark side.

I am 6'9" and fit with no problem in my camaro (no sun roof). However, your torso may be longer than mine (I'm pretty even between legs and torso) so there is a chance you don't fit. I have my seat all the way to the bottom and I'm pretty comfy.
Regardless of if you fit or not, I'm glad to see you kept with American Muscle. Please post a picture of your mustang when it arrives. |

Not sure you will move back to the Camaro. I think once you take delivery and enjoy the car, you may find it a keeper. Oh and....grats! |

Don't Like it? Suggit.

Yikes! Seems like there could've been a solution to your clearance issue besides buying a car you didn't want... Regardless, it's still American muscle, and you're still welcome here!
Congrats tho on the car, hope it lives up!
