Question Recommend a TV...

So, I'm in the market for a new TV. I'd like to have the following:
  • 1080p
  • 120 Hz refresh rate
  • at least 40" size
  • LCD (possibly LED?)

Can anyone recommend a good TV that may meet the above criteria? Any comments are welcomed!

we have several Samsungs in the house..... thier TV's really rock daddy-o. They make some killer LED's, but even thier normal LCD's are sweet. Often Best Buy has some kinda deal on them...

I love my Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Touch of Color Bezel. Have had it for 2 years and it's an awesome TV. Watching sports in HD is amazing...got it at best buy. No issues.....The only negative I would say is the sound quality right out of the box, I purchased a sound bar and its all good now.. Like going from stock exhaust to after market...which I have yet to do.

I have a 55" Samsung LED and absolutely love it. I've always owned Sony until now and I'm happy I made the switch. Mine is 240Hz, 1080p LED. It's 1.25" thick and 60lbs.or so. Here is a review of my tv.

From what I'm reading on other "places", most 2010 model LED TV's for Sony or Samsung are not "backlit LED TVs", rather they are edge-lit. Do you guys know if this matters much?

If your going to buy a big screen tv, get it with the 240hz I have one with 120 and one with 240, huge difference in picture quality.

I used to buy Sony, but now try and avoid Japanese products as much as possible. I'd recommend Samsung.

I think I've been swayed...

I'm leaning towards the Samsung UN40C6300

It meets all my criteria and most of the replies i've gotten here are for Samsung. I've spent most of the day reading reviews and comparisons.

Thanks guys!!!
