Sorry Cleveland guess another #23 stuck it to you AGAIN! But really the guy gave you 7 years....How long have you been at your job for? The guy gave you his heart and sweat. Let it go already. You still have Delante West......

I read gilberts comments last night and was rolling. How about how he reduced the price on all lebron's fat heads. Dude is hilarious.
Hate to say it but can't wait to see a heat game on the tube |

Dan Gilbert made some very foolish comments "in the heat (no pun intended) right after the moment". He currently has 4 guys under contract, none of them really enough to carry a team through a game much less a season. Sure they have $9M in capspace, but so what? That's not enough to pull one decent free agent to Cleveland, much less a team of them. Ridiculous comments that will have Cleveland fans calling for his head before too long.
Lebron lost some class here as far as I'm concerned. Did he have the right to leave? Absolutely. Should he have left? That's debateable. Was it was best for him? Really, only he knows that. However, he should have handled this with more class. He should have had a conversation with the Cavs management first. I mean they did pay him ridiculous money for the last 7 years, the least the guy could have done was give them a heads up. He shouldn't have done this hour long thing on ESPN either....just bad form, that's all. All I can say is go Lakers. Hope you can hang with the Heat. |

Dan Gilbert is very unprofessional. I just don't see any player or potential Free Agent ever going to Cleveland to play for this fool. He practically called out his #1 guy that played his heart out for his team for 7 years. LeBron made the best decision for himself and his family. I've been a Heat fan for years, and never have I ever seen any Owner of a NBA Organization present himself and his Organization in such an unprofessional way. Good Luck to Mr. Gilbert and his franchise now because he completely tarnished it and threw himself under the bus along with his organization.

I saw LBJ sporting a #6 Miami Heat jersey last night and read he took #6 because MJ's #23 was retired in Miami.. Was this a league-wide thing?!? Did I miss something?
Gilbert's comments were unfortunately unprofessional in my opinion. He lost it in the HEAT of the moment. Being an Ohio girl for 27 years (yes, I was a dog-pound girl during the Elway years too), I'm said to see him leave - but it's no ones fault but management. They knew his contract was up and they didn't tuck him away. They didn't restructure the team, they bring in Shaq and that's considered help?!? Wow, Cleveland screwed themselves again. The guy carried the team and the city. He was 48.6% of their offense for pitty sake. See a problem here? But wait, the Browns have Delhomme at QB this season. OMG, someone, anyone.... Go Bucks..

As far as the number 23 it was LeBron that wants to show respect to Jordan by wearing 6. But the funny thing is Jordan was at a camp recently and was asked who is better Kobe or LeBron... His answer KOBE

I am still trying to figure out why he is being called "King James" I mean , what has he done in the 7 years he has been in the league? Now I know he has won 2 mvp awards but those are individual awards and I am not saying he did'nt deserve them but if I remember correctly , the 2 years that he won those awards there was another guy busy winning his 4th and 5th NBA Championship......While The aforementioned "King" can't even take his team to the finals in either year of winning those awards.
I know some people have always said that Kobe could'nt win without Shaq but he did win 2 more titles without him amd I guarantee that my belvoed Lakers would not have won any of those titles without Kobe on the team. I honestly believe that Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest clutch players in the history of the NBA. I am just sick and tired of hearing about a guy that has done absolutely nothing in the league but score a bunch of points and win regular season games but always allow his team to fall flat on their face in the playoffs.....when it really counts. All of the NBA greats are considered great because of their ability to win in the post-season and lead their team's to championships. If you look over the last 20-25 years and name all of the great players of the game you will notice one common characteristic they all share..........RINGS! Here is a quick list of some of the guys I am referring to. Magic Johnson Kareem-Abdul Jabbar Larry Bird Kevin Mchale Isiah Thomas Joe Dumars Hakeem Olajuwon Tim Duncan Shaquille O'Neal Kobe Bryant Scottie Pippen Michael Jordan Now, this list can go on and on through the years of the NBA but I have made my point , and in my somewhat biased opinion LeBron James is not a king ,hell he is'nt even a duke in Kobe's court if there is a king of the NBA it's not#23 or #6 or whatever he is wearing this year it's number 24....yes I am a die hard Lakers fan but I can totally feel the pain the Cleveland fans are feeling after "The Classless Chump" turned his cheek on his home town on national t.v. End Rant................Go Lakers!! |
