I think so. They were recently running 6.0L LS7.Rs, down from 7.0L but that was only for part of a season. I can't see why they would run an engine smaller than the maximum limit allowed.

It's going to be amazing. That's a big stumbling block for me to get the current Camaro SS. Yeah, yeah, it's still a long way away and all, but without a doubt there will be many people getting rid of their 2010s for the 2015s.
