I live in a very small town and know pretty much everyone that works at both the Chevy and Ford dealership. The Ford dealership is a small building that is completely glass facing the road with car in showroom. Once I found out the local Ford dealership got a 5.0 in stock, I took my SS and slowly circled the dealership twice. The second time I circled, all the managers and salesmen were watching me, lol.

WTF are you talking about? They were littered. I know this because I used to own a 08 GT and am a member of S197, Mustang forums, and modular and it was all over the place.

To me the Challenger looks too much like all the other Dodges on the road. Flat and boxy. Plus it literally looks just like the charger or the 300 etc... lame. Mustangs have IMO always had issues as well. My 2000 GT was not too terribly bad other than when I would pull the door closed the door panel would start to fall apart but Camaros have had some issues as well. Fit and finish I think they are about equal. Form and function I think the Camaro in my book has always won out against the Mustang.

I was just pointing out that stock to stock, the V6 cars aren't close to evenly matched. I'm not arguing that the V8's are close, they definitely are. A tenth or two could be overcome with a driver mod.

A half a second or so, as has been stated on this forum, is an eternity in racing.

I don't think anyone's arguing that point.

*just noticed something really odd. The spell check here doesn't recognize "Camaro" as a word. Might want to fix that.

i see. i suppose i wasnt posting as much on the forums at that time then.

perhaps they were worried at that particular time...i mean who wouldnt be...426 hp LS3. Thats nasty. but then reality struck, and the S197 guys realized there wasnt too much to worry about so they dropped it. since ive been posting on S197 it hasnt been until recently that ive seen anything about the 2010 Camaro...and half of that is thanks to 2SSArmy
