Maybe because they are great cars??, and because they have been always been reliable.. They have Millions of cars out there that have no issues. Regardless of a few hundred.

I wouldn't worry about parts because i believe they have to stock parts for 15 years and many of the parts are common with other GM products. Had the brand been sold then i would be a little worried that the new owner would drop the ball and mess up the service parts.

The FJ Cruiser is up there with the ugliest car I have seen. Hummer or Jeep ftw. They are better off road anyway.

I too traded my FJ Cruiser in for my Camaro but it was a very tough decision because I LOVED my FJ. Not only was it reliable but I took it places my friends went with their lifted Jeeps! I owned it almost 3 years and I only took it into the dealer for 1 repair, a window seal. They could tell I wheeled it hard and never questioned anything when I would take it in for oil changes and services. Highly recommended!

Well I already know I don't want a 2006 model. Aparently head gaskets were an issue with them.

Hummer H3, you'd probably be better off buying a Tahoe or something.....

Don't Like it? Suggit.

I know it's basically a Chevy product, but I'd take Tactical's SRT-8 over any GM Hummer any day of the week. ^^^

I know a little about H3s. Here's my opinion. Unless you honestly plan to go off-road, avoid it. If you do plan to go off-road, the H3s are pretty serious even with the 5 cylinder. They basically wallow and roll around on road and just generally don't feel as good as their competitors, but off-road they come into their own.
(edit: just as a comparison, I have been in both the FJ and H3 on some of the same trails and the H3 was more capable. Mainly because of the transfer case which is much lower on the H3. They both had electronic locking rears but the gearing was low enough on the H3 that it could simply climb some things that the FJ struggled with- something like 33:1 for the FJ vs 69:1 for the H3).
