Redline is 6600 in the ls3, 6000 in the l99. Just checked. You should be shifting after 6k though. An ls3 may be better off shifting just before redline, but I'm not sure as I've never driven one down the track.

oh damn man...you gotta do something about those 60's! thats mostly why i havent been to the track in my cars current configuration...on my stock tires i know im gonna have some shitty ET. so if i do go ill be looking mostly at mph as my indicator as to what the car can really do. should see ~107-108 mph or so.
