Definitely a step up from last year, but still sub par.

I Love the look. A touchscreen is not useless, however I voted that it is useless because there is no option that says I don't want one... They get outdated so quickly it isn't even funny.. And after a year the bulb gets faded and you can barely see the screen in the sunlight..

I do love the new Mustang interior look and it is on par with the Camaro's interior in my opinion.. If you like screens, then the Mustang has the edge there..

They're not exactly gas-savers and yet they all have six speed transmissions.

I think if the Camaro was coming out with a five speed and the new GT had a six speed you'd be all over us for it.
Do a bit of research and you'll see I'm correct. There are always going to be exceptions to the rule. But the implimentation on 6 speed transmisions as they stand in the Camaro (and the GT500) is to add an extra overdrive gear for increased fuel economy at highway speeds. There are cases where a 6 speed would be geared with a closer ratio with only one overdrive gear for road racing or smaller engines with a narrow power band. but this is very uncommon. Manufacturers also are required to have higher overall epa's so a one or two mpg increase in a vehicle like the GT500 helps with that rating.

If Ford was going to use a six speed to raise MPG for higher average EPA ratings then they would put it in the higher number production cars like...the Mustang GT.

I'm sorry dude but I think you're wrong. And in your other post, you said that having another gear wouldn't increase top speed. How is that true?

I do like the new Mustang interior, but I don`t like the touch screen and wish you could get rid of it.So no, I don`t think the Camaro needs it because I wouldn`t get it even if you could.

The steering wheel looks exactly like the Camaro's
And as for the touch screen, It's just more of a distraction.

Theoretical top speed in 6th gear at redline in the ZR1 is over 220 mph. Do you think it can hit redline in 6th gear? Maybe it could come close but it has over 630 HP. Most cars with six speed transmissions cannot come close to hitting redline in 6th gear. All the Z06 top speed runs you see are all in 5th gear as soon as you shift in to 6th the top speed drops off. In most vehicles 6th gear is there to help with gas mileage and that's it.
Do some research about this 5spd vs 6 spd debate and you'll see. I'm not making this shit up.
Here watch this. Z06 hitting 190 in 5th gear at just over 6000rpm and the ZR1 hitting 200 mph in 6th gear at 6000 rpm. With the gearing in a V6 Camaro theoretical top end at redline is close to 200 mph. Do you think it'll be able to go that fast? Then why? Fuel economy. Very cool videos by the way.

That stripe on the seat reminds me of a 1967 Nova SS interior. As far as nav screens or touch screens....who needs that? Does it make the car faster? NOPE. Just more crap that can fail down the road. You can keep the tv screen thankyou.

While I don't think the Camaro needs a touch screen thing, I must say I do like the new Mustang interior, though that is one of the only things I like about the car!
