NBC Cancels "My Own Worst Enemy" - Page 2

I sad to see the show fail.I posted a comment last week that they didnt have enough of the camaro in the show.Knight rider has already been picked up for a whole season.(22 episodes).Im not trying to rub it in anyones faces,just sticking up for my favorite show.makes you wonder why GM wouldnt have tryed harder to be in Knight Rider instead of My Own Worst Enemy.Looks like they backed the wrong horse.I would have preferred KITT be a Camaro than a Mustang but I still love the show.

Well...I didn't think that that show was very good.
After not seeing the Camaro in the second episode I stopped watching.
+1 for trying to be different, but for different to be successful, it has to be better than what "normal" t.v. is.

Um no, KITT shouldn't be a Camaro. and it's a bad show.
AS for MOWE, well the network just lost me again. guess they'll re-run shows from another night

I don't know where anyone heard any "chopping block" or "retooling" info on Knight Rider. NBC gave it a full season 22 episode order as is. There is no changes planned.

That said I actually like Knight Rider for its campiness. However it is not anywhere near as good as MOWE and I'm pretty sad it got cancelled.

When I see a show get cancelled for no apparent reason, I always think of Fox. This surprises me.

That was one of the few shows worth watching. The last episode had so many interesting "twists" that I really had to focus to understand what was occuring.
It appears TV shows have to be "dumbed down" to the level of the average American ie "Knight Rider" (I could only handle 15 min of that show).

I am upset to hear it is canceled. I enjoyed the show. It was a great alternative to the corny lines of "Horatio Cane". Unlike a lot of you, I did not feel they should shove the camaro down the viewers throat, sure it would have been really cool to see ( opening episode with car was cool), but there was actually stuff going on where they didn't have to rely on pimping the car.
I agree to the statement though that the crime/police dramas are getting a little old. Can't someone in that crap hole we call L.A. come up with a new concept? Oh wait, they just did and it got canned. Oh well.

I'm bummed. I really like the show. It had an interesting story and was way different than all the other crap out there. I agree with Moose. How many freaking crime and lawyer shows do we need.

Dont' forget about all the freaking hospital shows too.

Other than The Office and Sunday Night Football I don't even bother going to the Nothing But Crap network.

That's really to bad. Seems like it didn't stand a chance right out of the gate. Showing more of the Camaro probably wouldn't have saved the show, but I do believe they should have had more scenes with the car, after all they already established that Edward had the Camaro, so why not use it more?

The show was getting good the last few episodes. Too bad they only had the Camaro in it for a few seconds.. If they centered the show around it, it would have been much better..
