I've shared on other posted my family history but, this seems like a good place to repeat myself. My Dad worked for GM for 40 years. Tool & Die at Fisher Body, Ewing, N.J. (1947 to 1987).

Obviously, I've never driven anything but GM products from Chevys (1966 & 1970 Chevelles), Pontiac (6000 STE), Buick (LeSabre T-Type), etc.

That's why the bowties will stay on the grill and rear panel of my 2SS/RS and so will the GM "chicklets" on the front fenders. I want people to know that the car I choose to drive is an American Brand and that I am proud of it's heritage.

Keep the faith...

Well I for one am extremly happy to hear you've picked up Saab. I love the brand, it's easily the best affordable brand in Sweden and have hopes that you will do great things with it.

Also gotta add, I'm a also a member of a few non-car boards and on one of these there's been a pretty fiery discussion about the future of GM and it's pretty depressing that so many people still believe American cars to be bad. Some guys even took up examples like the x-body! That's quite a while ago... But there was several people who like I defended GM, especially the current GM. My point is, I and many others have faith in GM and believe that it the company will be around for a long time. I know for sure that I'll always buy GM.

At this time, I wish EVERYONE at GM Headquarters, all the suppliers, and all my brothers at other dealerships the very best - I hope the future becomes brighter for all of us!

On top of a Holiday Season doesn't make it any better AT ALL! When I have to focus on the lot and not be on these forums, you KNOW times are bad.

No dumb questions, only dumb answers. You could have asked google, however it comes up with over 300 000 results when you enter "stock symbol for general motors"
