I must admit, if the stang does end up with the TTv6 ecoboost, I'd watch it pretty closely... possibly buy one in the future (to park next to my camaro of course) just because factory boosted cars are always fun to mod

yeah becuase they should spend more money especially since they are smaller then GM and lost 3 BILLION dollars....i know it may not be good for Mustang guys but i would say they should use the current engine and not spend on development...

Do we have any more details on this motor other than the fact that it has 400 hp?

This 400HP motor in a lighter car will give the Camaro SS stock a run for its money as it may very well be faster 0-60....

Nobody knows if there will be a significant weight difference between the SS and the GT

you are correct sir , the new STANG GT will certainly be lighter than the MARO SS ,FORD is even tooling weight cutting measures for the GT , competition is always good let the pony wars begin , IN ONLY 8 DAYS we will know MUCH MORE AS THE NEW 2010 MUSTANG GT IS REVEALED TO THE WORLD , here is the LINK

The 2010 Mustang won't have any more than 330hp and no new motor. It will still get destroyed by the Camaro until the new generation in 2011-2012, when it will get slightly less embarassed.

let's see hmmm , the 2009 GT weighs 3480 p the 2010 SS weighs 3900 p + (auto) that's OVER 400 POUNDS more , very unlikely that the 2010 STANG will gain 400+ pounds since they are using the same platform as the 05 , get real
