Remember when the 5.0 was maxed from the factory like was said?
How about when it was said the 5.0 was going to have to have the 3.73 gear to compete?

Same kind of dumb shit that was said when the 03 Cobra came out.

Someone has to keep the ignorant in line. Of course you could always bury your head in the sand.
So you're mad some people here knocked the 5.0 and the Cobra and this is your way of getting even? Can't be worrying about what other people think man, you'll never be happy! Dodge guys say the Camaro's ugly, Ford guys say the Camaro is slow, Camaro guys says the Ford will break down or something. it's always gonna be something

Man, we'll see. I think GM might be focused on knocking out Camry and Accord right now though.

it is only going to be a close race for previous gen GT's if the V6 has the performance pack. otherwise the V6 stang will be on the same level as the camaro V6. and based off the people who have driven 2011 automatics, those should be much slower.
Ehh, last I checked the 2010 GT's had what, 325 ft. lbs? So it wouldn't be an extra 60 ft-lbs for you. I think it'd be very close for the non track pack '10 gt's

still doesnt hide the fact that today an average CAR like an accord is only 3550lbs and most pony cars today surpass that by a large margin

some one probably already put this in here. but a shop dynoed one new and it was only putting down 375hp. c&d also said theres was stock. now if it had the k&N then they lied.

sooo i do not know what to believe anymore. we will have to wait for more to come out and see more dyno results

It's a good thing in the end. Hopefully the Stangs guys will go and actually BUY the car instead of just posting on the internet and keep some Americans employed. And now that the 5.0 is getting close, GM will hopefully work that much harder to improve the SS.
+1 its getting old lol

Those are the stock mufflers...

They weighed in at 22 pounds a piece!

MRT was getting ready to fab up a new axle back... they will be using the same setup as the MRT Ver 2.0 for the Camaro... Unfortunately I had to leave before they were done! ARGH!!! But I did talk to Scott later after they were done... He was very please with the results... The new MRT axle back should weigh in at about 8 pounds a piece.. so looking at around 28 pound savings...

you are rounding in the wrong direction. the "12.5" by a Camaro was damn near 12.6. The real difference between a Terminator and an SS is closer to 2/10's. Not a whole lot difference, but it's still there.
