Seems highly unlikely, the 370z coupe was barely ahead of the 2010 GT, before the 2011 Coyote upgrade.

appears mike (from powerhouse) ran a 12.9, 12.8 and two 12.7s (12.78 and 12.77) in his '11 5.0

not sure specs on it (gears, etc) but im assuming its at least a MT car

edit, guess it had 3.31s and stock rims and tires

That is ****ing awesome for 3.31 gears and base tires/wheels. The Motor Trend car was not a ringer.

I'd bet on at worst a 12.4. I would think with just the summer tires, Mike could have hit a 12.6.

The times will be posted when the newt new MMFF magazine hits the stand. They have already dynoed the car so I know evan smith has had it at the track.

It looks like even with 3.31s bone stock 12.7s are gonna be easy. With the good driver mod of course. Imagine if the car was broken in.

Coyote vs 5th gen SS may be a drivers race, but the SS driver better be really good.

Even though it may be a little slower than the 2011 GT I still like the SS. But when it comes time to plunk my money down I am leaning towards the GT. Both are very cool.
