Yep, that'll do it. Anyone seen NASCAR, and those cars are built to stay on the ground!

Not a wise decision (it only takes 1).

The story is a sad one.. but thats what happens when you are young (im young as well) and do not respect the power of a car + physics + law.

Tough pill to swallow, good example of take the racing to the tracks. (not saying he was racing but for sure going well over the speed limit)

Having been a firefighter for many years, I can say this is very sad for his family and everyone he left behind that had to deal with it.

For him I say good job you moron. Thank you for cleansing the gene pool a little. And thank God you didn't take anyone else with you.

He probably hit that curb sideways at 150+ and then the car rolled, dug in and just caught the ground the right way to put it on to the roof.

Another reason to raise the driving age to 25.

Why we gotta suffer because some assholes can't drive

Bad enough I can't get a "conceal carry permit" till I'm 21 let alone buying some bullets

And when you are our age, you'll look back and say... hmm, they mighta been right. The driving age to 25 ain't ne'er gonna happen, so no need to get defensive.

Bad decisions are made by us all, no matter the age. But I bet you don't stick that spoon of carrot mush in your eyesocket anymore! In otherwords... live and learn! This time it was a very sad lesson for us all.

So did I. But when you get older you learn. There is NO reason for a 16-18 year old to be driving a rear wheel drive performance car as their first car. Don't really care who that offends. (Parents are just as stupid for actually letting them drive one or buying one for them.)

I am lucky I made it to 21 driving my Camaro around back then - even if my V8 Camaro only had 170hp back in 88.

I see the way kids drive today and no wonder people want to shoot them.

Disagree. 16 is fine but there should be a mandatory performance driving course for those who wish to own/drive a performance car. This would help lower insurance rates and hopefully reduce the number of "moments" seen today. It may also allow the manufactures of such cars to "open the doors" so to speak in building such cars. (Insurance regulators have the automobile manufactures by the nads.)

Same rules apply to those who chose to ride high performance street motorcycles. (Yes I am a licensed motorcyclist).

Those kinds of programs would never get approved. Who is going to pay for it??

Parents today can't even take the time to teach their kids basic respect for others and other life skills but yet THEY should be the ones teaching them how to be good drivers. What we DON'T need is more government programs to make up for lazy parenting.
