That Mustang price is awful high for a 2010. People are getting very good deals on them because of the upgrades coming in 2011. As it gets closer to the time of the 2011's release, the 2010's prices should really come down.

That is the sticker, I used the sticker for both cars. The Xplan on the STang is a little over 32k and there are up to 4500 in rebates.

Between the '10 GT, '10 SS, and 10 R/T, I would not consider the '10 GT just based on the fact that it is underpowered and rec'd a big refresh in '11. Now, the '11GT makes the selection interesting. If this is a garage\fun car, the '11GT and SS are on par, so buy the one that feels best. If this car is your primary driver, and you are big and tall, buy the Challenger R/T and be done, you will not be sorry.

one thing to consider about a '10 GT is that i payed the same amount for my fully loaded one as i would have for a fully loaded '11 V6.

Yep, price is always a key factor. Keeping monthly expenses down is key right now...... IF you have a price ceiling, and IF can get a KILLER deal on a '10 based on the incoming model... you may want to jump all over that like you mentioned....... never get in over your head.

THis is the kicker right here, that GT Premium with all the options with the Xplan I can get and allthe rebates would be around 27800+TTL, the 2011 setup the seam would porbably be betwen 36 and 37k.

And the 4.6 3v motor takes very well to mods as well, if you plan on modding the car.

IDK. Take a '10 Mustang GT, put a Kenne Bell S/C on it and spend about the same amount as a '11 Mustang GT with no discounts.

500+WHP vs. ~380WHP.

Depends on what a person really wants.

This is true and you already have a nice large aftermarket out there. if I could have both of these, I would in a heartbeat.

This is what I'd do if I where in your situation...

Challenger R/T, unless you get a really good deal on the 2010 Mustang GT (like it seems you have).
