1. 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS (~36,000)
2. Fully-restored 1977 Pontiac Trans Am SE Y81 (~35,000)
3. The rest would go to something rational...

C6 Z06 and put some $$$ into it. Cheaper than going ZR1.

For 100k, I'd go to auction to get a near mint 1969 Chevelle SS 454 4 speed with all available factory options.

Although, I may need another 25k to get it.

Guess it's just a matter if Michelin makes them in the right size, or not.

TUB IT OUT and go for REALLY wide!

I'd buy the 2SS / RS and have all the aftermarket stuff added to my taste (Maggie, custom exhaust, hood, body kit, brakes, stereo, long tubes, CAI and suspension). ")

100k for cars. Hmmmm.

2011 Mustang GT 5.0L V8....~32k optioned as I would get it. I would likely add about 5k in goodies right away including wheels/tires, exhaust, and a tune bringing the total to ~37k.

2010 Volvo S80 T6 AWD for the wife....~50k optioned as we would get.

1977 F-250 4x4 built for work and fun. The remaining 13k should cover it.

Matter of fact, you are probably looking at the family vehicle lineup come sometime around November 2010. Albeit, some of these will get here sooner than others.

I'm sure you mean a 1970 Chevelle SS, since the 454 wasn't available in 1969.

For $100K, I'd go to auctions to get a fully restored '67 'vette coupe 427/435 4-speed. Although I may need another $25K or so to get it. There's no doubt that the new ZR-1 'vette would outperform the '67 all day long in any venue, and the ZR-1 does look great, but the '67 big block 'vette is legendary and IMHO is the most perfect car design ever.
