Here, we have 2 taxes. Provincial and Federal. We give to both, and get back from both. On the other hand our taxes are higher than most states too:(

I've been there too X. Last year I paid $23,265 into Federal last year.

Usually that's where my money ends up going but this year my credit cards were already paid down and I didn't owe anything so I was able to splurge for a change.

I paid around 14,000 federal and 6,000 state and I thought i was taken to the cleaners......

Just one year i would like to make what i make, no taxes. LOL

All told this is what I paid in taxes last year:

Feds : $23,265
Medicare $1,729
Soc Sec $6,622
State $8,284

$39,900 total....YIPPIE!!
