My buddy has a 08 Bullitt (which from my limited research) I believe is to be equivalent to the 2010s set up.

We didn't race, but he has driven mine, I have driven his.. It is no contest, I would win that race (but that is kind of unfair with my tune... TUNES really wake up this car. (same for the Camaro i do believe)

Well one buddy of mine has an 06' GT with a ColdAir, Exhaust and tune.

And I've driven both a 2010 Mustang GT with the crappy 5 speed, and the G8 GT. I thought the Mustang was faster. At least by the butt'o meter.

mustang faster than the ss? i call BS. magazines are filled with bs half of the time. for years i've watched MT be gm biased with all their articles, in this last year is the most positive reviews i've ever seen them give ford. the stock 05-10 gts were a joke, i've ran them and hated them, thats why i bought the ss after years of racing fords, cobras, harleys, etc. i went with the better car even though MT didn't. magazines aren't the dragstrip or the street. i have yet to see a ford run what they said they would run stock. when these gts come out, it'll be on....

it's simple mechanics that it would be faster with less weight.

I know that. I just found it funny. Dont you. I mean why wouldnt someone who owns a 2001 SS use the sig of someone elses stock appearing 2001 SS when they already have their own. I mean I know I would use someone elses Camaro in my sig if I already had the same car.
