Z Wins in 4/5 categories and on the track. I'm 2-0 vs automatic Camaro SS's in my 350Z. While still reving in 1st gear the SS's auto shifts in to 2nd and my car either gains a car length or hits the back of the car if behind because it is slower. American muscle doesn't want to race anymore. I also eat Mustang GT's, Saleens and Boss's in my Japanese Z. It's a natural disaster. But In respect Chevy did do a miracle change over with the new model considering the Z28's were of the ugliest cars ever built. What was that V6's power rating again? 160-170hp? The new car still needs work. I went for a test drive and I couldn't see the gauges because the steering was in the way and didn't lower with the wheel column. My head hit the roof and if I lower the seats the steering wheel is at head height. I turned off the car and looked at the Corvette. The auto has a Rev limiter while in Park as a safety feature. It is the heaviest of all the cars. Has 70's gauges that the Corvette kept until the 80's-90's which is unaccurate at a glance. The car is a good dragster and that's it. I wouldn't race it on a track though. I am impressed with the car though as it has came a long way buuuut then comes my Fairlady with a 3.5L V6 that will outdrag the 6.2L V8's 400-426hp Corvette engine and you can't deny it.
