How the hell do you figure they were street racing? You dont theres no mention of it just some guy who felt the need for speed is what I got. Pretty sure if they were street racing it would have been mentioned in the article and that the police would be looking for the other car.

Did you read the comments? LOL.

I don't feel bad at all to be honest, except for the passenger.

In my hometown two people from my old high school were driving while intoxicated and stoned. They hit an elderly couple on a back road and no one survived. The town had a memorial for the high school students! In my eyes, they were murderers.

I just don't understand the mentality of people anymore.

This exactly proves why nobody should do this on the street. Over the summer, I actually lost two guys that I knew, not exactly friends though, due to them driving fast on the streets. In one accident, he smacked right into a tree. In the other accident, he went right into a ditch and some trees on a wooded road as he was trying to pass a truck going the other way on a small dirt road.

I've never drivin fast on a street or freeway, and stuff like this reminds me of never doing it. Unleashing the power of my cars at the track though, is another story. At least there I won't kill somebody or paralyze them.

I was actually in court to help translate for somebody, though it wasn't on a traffic or car related case. It was just some stupid having bonfires thing. But, traffic court was held before the case was heard and there was this kid who was my age and he kept getting speeding tickets for driving recklessly. The judge's words were something along the lines of "I don't care what he does with his own life, but I can't have the possibility of having this kid kill or injure somebody". And I gotta say, I completely agree, I don't care if there is the possibility of me injuring myself at the track, but I won't drive quickly on the street as I don't want to kill or injure somebody innocent.

Is it truely impossible to have a thread that includes speeding without the street racing forum police reminding us why its not condoned?

Im pretty sure most of us are grown ass men that are full aware of the consequences of speeding/street racing/ driniking and driving/ failing to signal/ forgeting to buckle up/using 87 octane/ putting too wide of tires on our rims/ tuning our cars...ect ect that we dont need to be reminded every time a thread gets started about what happens when you do any of the above.

Its just annoying.

Dont you think the whole point of posting the pictures was to show the actual results of said actions already? You guys are like broken records with DATS WHY YOU DONT STREET RACE!!! BRAGHHH IT KILLZ PEOPLE STUPIDZ!!!!!

LOL Really?

For the record that wasnt directed at Camaro Corvette....hes like the 1 guy who got the point of the thread.
