Just saw Transformers last night...
Bumblebee was amaaaaazing!!! I started clapping when he zapped the new Camaro rolling by in the opposite direction. It was the dorkiest thing I could have ever done, and there were a ton of people in the theater for this particular show, but no! Others were clapping too!!! It felt sooo good to know that there are others that appreciate this car as much I(we) do. I hope GM is aware they set expectations just that much higher than they were before people saw the movie!? I'm more than sure we've picked up far more than a few new Camaro fans!!! The design is so fresh, so clean, I don't see how it could really ever be retro, it's kind of like what Porsche has done with the 911: Gently massaged the design over time while always keeping it totally current. This time Chevy by passed several generations and came up with a whole new concept with more than a few pieces of inspiration from that past. Sorry if this is lengthy rant, or has been discussed many many timers before. I just had to let all of you know just how much more certain the 5th gen is the car for me!!!

I loved that scene as well and using that song from Kill Bill was perfect. I'm a huge Kill Bill fan. GM knew what they were on to when they put their cars in this film. And using a gorgeous camaro concept as one of the most beloved characters from the series really hit the mark. How many people (myself included) are going to fight to get their hands on a yellow pearl and black Camaro and hang a "Bee-Otch" air freshener and disco ball from the mirror? A lot I'm sure.
Being a decades old Bumble Bee fan, I have to say, I'm really glad that he's a Camaro now and not a little Bug. Bugs lost their coolness after the new bug popped up. Overall though, I have to say that GM is doing a great job. I really like that they're bringing the Holden influence to the American market. They're finally realizing that we want stylish cars too.

i agree with more then half the people on here. that move was AMAZINGGGG who couldn't love it?
this is one of my top 3 favorite movies EVER! Bumblebee was so kickass it was almost unreal. I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw him turn into that sweeto 09 camaro my brother went and saw it i think the 2nd day it came out and came home only to rave about how fantastic it was, so of course, i had to see it for myself! kudos to michael bay for his awesome work! i heard there's suppose to be at least two more transformers sequels, the next one being "Eagle Eye", im not positive, but how couldnt they make at least another one, i mean come on!!

Your part of a Camaro enthusiast site. Anything short of "falling in love" with this Car would be ludicrus!
