Yea, he likely won't want to sit in your lap once he gets full sized...my dog hates when I garb him and sit on the couch with him in my lap! he's too big to fit good enough! And yea, as puppy's they are COMPLETE hand full's...less so when they get bigger if you train them properly.....

LOL, yes. Hand full is the word for it. I don't know too much about german shepherds, but I have been told that by every single person that I know that has owned one before.

Here is his crooked ear. Hope he grows out of this.

LOL, AWESOME! And yes, they all do that as puppies! He'll grow out of it for the most part, but will still do it occasionally. They like to have one ear up and the other down... Its kind of weird, but all of my dogs have done it, and they have all been shepherds so.... But he will be your best friend, and protect you to the fullest! Whenever my sisters start messing with me, he starts jumping in the way at them and what not! So if you are the one he gets close to, he will literally be your best friend! Mine gets SOOO excited every time I go home for the weekend!

Dude, they are AWESOME! Extremely loyal, great around kids, very loving, they are very energetic, and because of how big they get, you need a decent sized back yard, or take them out to play because they need their exercise...

Actually he is getting closer to my wife. Which was the main goal to begin with. I'm away on trips a lot, and we decided to get a dog so she could have somebody at home with her. She wanted a lab, I wanted a German shepherd....I won>

Well, This is my first one, lemme tell you in a yearwe are getting to the point where we just have to start taking him on walks. He really gets rid of a lot of energy when we let him out to play in the snow! This dog freaking loves snow. Never seen a dog so happy. I went out with him for an hour today just letting him run around and stuff his head into a big drift.

Looking for a home right now, with a decently sized backyard. I hope I find one soon for puppy's sake.:(

Well, that's good. He will definitely protect her while you are away. But if you start doing something to her he doesn't like, be prepared to get jumped on and growled at! lol He won't do anything as long as you don't do anything serious

Yea, walks are key without a back yard! My dog tugs sooo much when I take him on walks. No1 else in my fam does, and I am only there every so often.. and yea, they love snow! mine always comes in from the yard looking like there was a blizzard or something!

Yea, a yard where he can play is KEY, we don't have one of those, which is why mine tugs so much when i take him on walks....

Yeah, I know what you mean. I had him trained to walk beside me, and then I went on three trips in a row. I wasn't home for practically a month. Well, my wife must have missed that memo on how to properly walk the dog. All my work down the tubes.... IDk, he will learn it again. I just need to free up more time

I got to hit it. See you whores tomorrow. Maybe I'll have a new 55" TV sitting in my living room.
