Question Power mirror problem on my car

On my Monte Carlo the mirrors are acting up i can only go up and to the right does not matter if i have it set to L or R. I HOPE it is just the switch went bad and not the mirrors. anybody with GM car/trucks that have PMs and have this problem?

more than likely just your switch. If you can get a wiring diagram for it unplug the switch take a 12 volt battery and jumper the different wires and check your mirrors. If you don't have a wiring diagram I can get you one
