Its not air, its a PPD.

The doctor (well, a nurse did) put it there. Its for a TB skin test.

Those things are always weird. At least they don't hurt much. Anyone ever gotten a penicillin shot before though?

Not I. Most painful thing I've ever had was a emergency steroid shot I had to get when I had a severe allergic reaction to poison ivy. Burned like fire and constricted my entire leg. Not fun, but it got rid of the reaction quick for sure.
