BTW the tractor is a 1952 Ford, not one of the new fancy ones. I am glad b/c the wiring is so simple. Battery to starter (-), battery to chassis (+), starter button to key to starter... how simple! Then one for the lights and the alt gauge that does not work.

Nice. Reminds me of how we started the 76 F350 dump with no floors at work. BIG giant yellow cable from the starter to a portable generator/ground. Pretty big event when we started it to move crap. And seriously, there was no floor to speak of. We put impromptu cross members in as foot rests.

Fun considering the thing was a stick shift too. <_<

Later bought a' 99 GMC 3500HD Dump to replace it. Haven't had a problem with that one at all. Only 50K miles now if memory serves. Still have the '97 Cheyenne 2500 too. I want that truck BAD, even though I'll probably sink a grand into a new bed, new bench seat, and tune up.

So many memories from childhood going to work with dad on a snow day to plow snow.

Nope. Went with OpenOffice instead. Works just fine and was free.
