The new Maxima is nice. Someone on my court has a white one, and it is sexy indeed. Although I'm not a fan of the headlamps, I think the rest of it looks nice. Much better than the last gen Maxima.

It's certainly got some power, although I'm pretty sure it's also heavy. Over 4,000lbs? With that engine though it should be capable of doing 0-60 in under 6 seconds, and maybe the quarter in low 14's...

I surely would not underestimate it...

It looks like the Camaro LS will have another Nissan to fight at the track. It's a gorgeous car in person. I didn't realize how fast it was.

If that's the case, it will represent a very even match for a Camaro LS.

I like Nissan's heritage. It's one of the only import companies that I think has a strong racing heritage that got carried over to the US. Nissan has a lot of great tuning and sports cars in its history, and I like seeing it keep that image with competitive cars. I can't wait to see some Camaro-Maxima match-ups.

That Maxima looks pretty nice. I'd prefer a Malibu though.

lol exactly why I said pretty sure, and had a ? at the end of the sentence.

Dry curb weight is 3579lbs, (taken from edmunds.com) as tested 3609lbs

So it is a little lighter than I thought. It's going to be quick, and some competition for the Camaro V6 no doubt, but it's also FWD + roughly 3600lbs + a 290hp V6.

However I'd expect it to do 0-60 in 5.7-6 seconds, which is quick, but nothing to really worry about.
