P.S. - I agree. F carbureted LSXs. I want a fuel injected one with a top mount throttle body (where a carb would go).

WHY? When LS1/6/2 intakes and PCM's are so readily available? And cheap! Seems like TBI would be a big step back.

No no no, not TBI. MPFI. Just with a universal 4bbl throttle body on top.

Basically I want it to be all MPFI and awesome (I'll probably use an LS1 unless I can get the GMPP lsx controller for cheap) but to look old school and awesome.

Or something.

Probably a buick skylark.

I've decided I'm going to work on getting the drivetrain built (LSX376/T-56, positrac 12 bolt rear, etc) so that when I find a suitable body I can just take the old stuff out and put the new stuff in. Boom, instant retromod daily driver.
