Of course I'm in.

Thank you to all who are not LEO, but respect us enough to care and respect those that have fallen. God Bless each and every one of you.

God Bless those fallen officers and their families too. While they, the officers, can never be replaced, I hope they, their families, are at some kind of peace knowing the BG got what he so reightfully deserved.

I posted this thread in the CANADA section, and hope to send all of our respect your way; God Bless. In Canada we also honour Canadian Police & Peace Officers, who have fallen, on the last Sunday of September each year.

THIN BLUE LINE: PLEASE READ!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a caption taken from the "Off Topic" section that I feel is important, and to show our respect to the families of the lost officers. If you haven't already done so, please change your avatars during this time of mourning, and lets show our respect.

Here is the link to the avatar to save to your computer:

The blue line represents all law enforcement who daily protect this nation. The black background was designed as a constant reminder of our fallen officers. In honor of the four murdered Lakewood Police Officers in Washington State, The 'thin blue line" is asking you to change your profile pics until their funerals (Tuesday, December 8th)

I was going to ask why people are using the Thin Blue Line as their avatars. I have been a Police Officer in Joliet Illinois for 16 years now and I am currently a Patrol Sergeant. When I saw the Thin Blue Line Avatar I was going to ask how many of you were actually LEO's? Now I got my answer as to why people were using this as their Avatars.
I also wanted to say that this site, so far, unlike others has seemed to be Police friendly. I have not read a bad thing as of yet or "Flaming" of Law Enforcement.
I am thankful to be reading on this site how you are honoring my Fallen fellow LEO'S.

ummm it got moved because it has NOTHING to do with the Camaro. This is a Camaro site and honoring fallen officers is not that topic so... you got moved to OFF TOPIC. Pretty easy to figure why ace.

I think I like my avatar better. Not that I don't feel bad for a few badges that were sitting in a coffe shop working on their lap tops and some jackoff comes in and shoots them but, I like the Camaro better. Sorry. Hats off to the men/women in uniform that serve ethically. I stress the word ethically. A local cop just got the axe b/c she gave someone a ticket for going 62 in a 55 and signed off that it was radar. Well guy fights the ticket and the cop admits to not using radar and gave him the ticket for it based on... and I quote "thats how fast I thought he was going... 62" WOW, just wow.

Secondly, I don't know if I necessarily believe they deserve any special treatment that any "civilian" murder victim would recieve. What about the 9 year old girl whose neighbor killed her or the 10 year old boy whose brother killed him... "just to see what it felt like" My heart goes out to the parents of these kids WAY more then to the cops. They chose a dangerous career and get paid to do it. 9 and 10 year olds getting murdered... just sick.

Let's not forget the Pelham, AL police officer who was recently killed. My heart goes out to anyone who is killed senslessly whether they are cops, kids, neighbors or complete strangers.

Been a LEO for 22 years now.
