"If you will recall, I had previously owned a 10-second KenneBell 2007 GT500 which I took back to stock before trading it in on the 2010."

This is why I don't buy used cars.

To each their own. The 2007 saw maybe 8-10 passes on it at the track. Some may consider that a car that had been abused, most would not. It's not how you drive it, its how you maintain it.

Great numbers. How is the part throttle drive ability?

What do your AFRs look like at part throttle and WOT?

Very nice numbers... Like a true racer, keep the real numbers a secret...

Although I have yet to get behind the wheel (and it's looking like it will now be Wednesday before I pick the car up; last minute business preventing me from going this weekend or early next week) the feedback I have received form Joe Beegle (the guy tuning the car at Dynospeed) is that the car has the same manners as it did stock throughout all the gears. That is, until you lay into the throttle.

A/F under boost stays at a consistent 11.1:1. Joe has been datalogging it on the road most of the day, and i will get a copy of those files when I pick up the car. once I have those logs, I should be able to provider more info on IAT2's and such.

Guess it will be next weekend before we will be able to plan to meet. Maybe I'll just plan to meet anyone interested in seeing the car for lunch next Saturday.?

Cool. I look forward to hearing the IAT's and AFRs, especially at part throttle boost. I'm sure it's tuned fine, I'm just always curious as to how they're setup.

Next Sat lunch works for me. If the weather's good I'll bring the Challenger and we'll make it a mini cruise-in.

Well, I went to Memphis and picked up the car today. Let's just say it was a fun 3.5 hour drive back to the house this afternoon.

The car idles and drives just like it did the day I bought it, that is, until you put your foot in it. Some of my previous cars have made considerable amounts of power for street-legal daily drivers, but this one is certainly the strongest one to date. If you have ever driven a car with 650+ horsepower, you know that there is little or no hope of getting it to hook up on any street tire. This car is no different. Get into to the go-pedal in just about any gear and it will break the tires loose.

I will definitely need a lot more seat time in the car before I feel remotely comfortable making a WOT pass at the track, and I'm going to need to run drag radials at all times to have any chance of hooking on the street. That is an issue, for sure, as the stock wheels are 19's and, to date, I do not know of anyone making a 19" drag radial. I know Nitto will soon be releasing their NT05R drag radials, but time will tell if they offer it in the size I will need.

It's nice to have the car back home in any case.

don't it feel great to finally get your vehicle back & it has a lot more power than the last time you drove it?!

I can't imagine 700 HP+ on that death on wheels you have there. I actually tried launching my stock SS today for the first time with everything off and that thing was fishtailing like a mofo, and I could only just imagine how hard that would be to control at something that has twice as much power lol. Just practice, practice, and practice some more mayne. Oh and I agree on a inside-car video!
