Back from Charlotte
What a looong drive.
I spent the Memorial Day weekend driving to Charlotte NC on Friday. Saturday was spent at DEI, RCR, and Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Sunday I went to the Coca-Cola 600. Monday, a stop at JR Motorsports and then the looong ride home. Picked up a little "Camaro news"; while at DEI, I spoke to someone from D.E. Chevrolet about the possibility of a 5th Gen. "D.E. version". While nothing was "concrete", in all likelyhood, D.E. Chevrolet will offer a "special" version. (hmmmmm) I already have a dealer in mind when the time comes to buy a new Camaro (Tom Henry), but I always regretted missing out on the 'Intimidator SS'. (hmmmm) |

  I... am... so jealous right now! lol Now if you would have gotten to meet Jr. and I didnt... Well... I guess I would just be very sad =( I found an Intimidator SS on Ebay a little while fact for $83,000... obviously a good investment. The ones that were actually signed by Earnhardt go for a lot more, that's the kind I would like to have lol. They are really nice. Hope they come out with a 5th gen too but I could never afford it haha!

If you are able to, I highly recommend you take a trip to the Charlotte area. Most of the race shops are located there. A great time! Once, I had the great privilege of getting a behind the scenes tour of DEI, with lunch in Dale's 'Trophy Room'!
