My day @ the track (motocross pics)

Hi All!

I went on a photo shoot today. An absolutely exquisite day for the end of November. Here are a couple of shots ~ I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Very cool! Nice shots!

Only suggestion would be to slow the shutter speed down a bit and pan a little bit... that way you can get some wheel blur... giving the pictures a sense of motion....

Ok... I looked again... your shutter speed was at 1/200th on this shot... much slower than the 1/800th to 1/1000th on the jump shots... so you are getting some really nice motion blur! Did a nice job panning also, keeping the rider in focus! Again, nice job!

Awesome pics Cyn !!

That's what we were doing down here yesterday, and then again tomorrow...
(at least the riding dirt bikes part). Not as radical as your shots, but a blast.

Absolutely great shots! Is this a hobby? Or, is it a job?

It's hard ~ they go very fast and panning is hard to judge. I will say it was on the auto setting. Once I have the pics and like the way they turn out I can note the setting and go manual. Thanks for the feedback!

I love to ride trails but not enough to even consider the track. Have fun!

Thank you. Hobby only, with a decent camera. It's a hard choice to decide where to spend my money... new lens or Camaro mods?
