The Supra will be a bust, if my research indicates anything. I pay decent attention to it since I have ties there. The RX-8 is a joke..as is Mazda Performance overall these days. I would definitely worry about Honda Acura though...they are sneaky and have awesome R&D and a following that's pretty loyal.

Actually I read somewhere that there are rumors of reviving the RX7.

I don't know of any real support for that, but the basic point is American Muscle rules.

I look forward to the return of the Supra...if it's anything like the older models. I loved not only that body style, but the car itself. That was one fast Toyota!

Agree... I've always loved the Supras... I'm all about American Muscle but a Supra is a fast car, and it's cool too

The front end of that Mustang reminds me of the new Lancer and Evo. The Pony package in '65-'66 was just a two-toned interior with an optional "rally-pac" tach and clock on the steering column, which could be had without the interior. It's just a way to boost sales. As far as a new Supra goes, they will probably price themselves out of the market again, which is a shame.

That rat-cat thing...DAMN UGLY!

Here's my take on the American muscle thing: give the Big Three - or two, the way Chrysler's going. Anyways, give em two-four years to start competing with each other and create monster cars...
Then the forigeners dip their feet in the pool. And get them bitten off by 3 vicious piranahs!

They are crazy fun to drive, plus the upgrade potential on them is nearly limitless because of the super-solid foundation they have from bow to stern.

However, my buddies modded Z06 would take me every time, dig or roll.

As a matter of fact, for fun, here's proof (me in the passenger seat of my car, letting a buddy drive it to a meet...video shot from the Z06)

I do have some, but I can't remember the exact links to them, and the way I hosted them I can't "explore" my directory without my FTP information...so it would be a hunt-n-peck to remember what I have uploaded and where. I made a video thread elsewhere that has a link to my site, and the autocross video shows the car pretty well.
