Lincoln MKX

Any opinions on the car? I would like to know the GM alternative to this vehicle as well, so they can look at it and give it a test drive. My grandparents are looking at one currently and I would like to know if this is a good buy?

Would recommend the CTS or LaCrosse to them as well. If they can wait until next year, get them into a Regal.

You'd point crossover buyers towards large/midsized sedans?
The MKX is a Lincolnized Ford Edge.

I'd get them to look into a new Cadillac SRX or the larger Buick Enclave.

My Grandmother isn't too enthused about the car. She said she'd rather have an Expedition/Tahoe, but my grandfather really likes the crossovers for some reason. But I'll tell them to look at the Enclave/SRX.

MKX is basically a sprused up edge. So I guess Caddy's entry ?

I'd definitely give the Caddy SRX a look. It undercuts the MKX by almost 5 grand...and personally, I think it looks better. And I'm sure for that difference you can gain an advantage in options (or just save it!).

Ask them what people say when they refer to the best of things.

"It's the Cadillac of......"

Cadillac is/has been the gold standard for decades.

My parents were looking at a bunch of luxury imports. I told them for the money, they could get a Caddy. Go drive one and see how they compare....

They bought the Caddy and have never regretted it.

It's too late. They brought it home last night lol... Didn't have time to show them their alternatives. I'll post up pictures later... I must say though a fantastic interior. They got it loaded out for like $43,000. Makes me feel bad... the thing has interior LED lights and my camaro doesn't lol.
