I guess being older and that I spent my youth doing crazy things like drag racing on the streets it feels good to be doing the same thing at 63. Then there are the benefits of no car payments and insurance rates that are low. I decided to buy a Camaro 2SS/RS in a subtle color called inferno orange because I was tired of the black cars I had owned even though I think The black Camaro looks cool. Now I may have to color my gray hair to go along with the inferno orange color.

405rwp from boltons alone is nothing to laugh at (if you consider a cam a bolton)

It was a PITA is what it was to install. I helped Tim with it and getting that darn stock pulley off was something...it just didnt want to budge. I also never want to install springs again :(

Springs is the worst part, IMO. You're happy about finishing the cam and lining up the dots right...when you realize you have 16 springs to put on and half the motor's under the hood. :bangdesk:

LOL!!! I left Tim by himself for the last batch of springs. I got too frustrated. We didnt have the right spring tool either but oh well. Also the fear when you first start it up! It was good when everything above the garage shook

The link in my sig is for anyone that is planning on going to the GA fest in April. I was just trying to see if people wanted to carpool/caravan there together because I am not sure how I am getting there yet. I need to talk to my dad next week when I head home for Thanksgiving Break... I don't think there are enough here in the Bloomington-Normal area for a meet/fest, unless people from Peoria and Champagne came to... Plus I don't have a Camaro... I may look into trying to organize an event or something for mid-may, but I will need to figure out everything it takes to have one...
