I'm glad they decided to make it aggresive looking. Looks Great!
There is a really good line starting at the bottom of the bumper flowing back, touches the headlight and keeps going.

No word on price yet. Expect it to be shadowing the Cobalts price.

My only critisism is that I think GM copied the Honda Accord in the front and rear end. Though they did make the car better looking than the Accord.......MUCH better looking.

Current reports are the the Cruze will actually be more than the Cobalt. It really is a very nice car for a compact. We've seen two interior spy shots, one that we assume to be an LS, another that we assume to be a top of the line LTZ, and the LS is stunning enough. I'd say an LS Cruze will cost a thousand over the current Cobalt LS.

This article states that it is supposed to be the car betwen the Cobolt and the Malibu and that the Cobolt may not be mothballed.

Looks great. Really though, I think making it larger than the Cobalt and keeping the Cobalt is a pretty weird idea. Unless they intend to drop the Impala, count the Malibu as a full-size (which they could), count the Cruze and their mid-size, and keep the Cobalt as their Compact, then that will be a very full and very overlapping lineup, which would not be good. Anyway, this car seriously looks to rock and if they offered an SS comparable to or even better than the current Cobalt SS, I would be seriously tempted to get that over the Camaro and save money. If only it didn't have that silly FWD...

I doubt this car will have an SS version. Remember a few years back, they said they were not happy with the way anything could have an SS slapped on it, so they were going to be more conservative with the use of SS?

Like I said, I doubt there will be an SS version.

That was in response to the Malibu SS, which had little in the way of increased performance. The Cobalt SS, on the other hand, set the 'Ring record for a FWD car and as such is wholly deserving of the SS name. The SS requirements are to Go, Stop, and Turn in class leading numbers, and the Cobalt SS delivers that in spades.

I think they'll replace the Cobalt sedan with the Cruze and keep the Cobalt coupe. on another note, look at the lower grille. it looks just a little bit familiar...
