Actually I don`t think balancing a engine with a piston larger than the other piston`s would not be that much of an issue as it`s mass is moving in a up and down motion as opposed to balancing rotational mass, the bigger problem would be an unequal power stroke. Just a guess.

Was thinking along the same lines, but would it be more like a ball that is weighted unevenly, do to the larger surface areas, larger displacement of that one cylinder and power produced.
