damn guys lil problem in auto tech we took apart and rebuilt our engines and when my group tried to start it up again it didn't start our spark plug is dry and sparking, the compression is at 80 psi
i have no clue what the problem is

Ran just fine.. turns out the piston was jammed a few mm's to the side and caused it to rub hard. If we had oiled the rings (like we were supposed to) we wouldn't have had that problem.. But I'd venture a guess to say that since it's a lawnmower engine, starter fluid in the carb. Or just try to prime it before you start it again. Pic is of our engine. Cylinder right over my right arm is the one we WD-40'd into working. |
