56, turning 57 Sept 25th. September 30th 2023 will be one year from the day I "quit" work and started burning ALL of my accrued time - I decided I'd had ENOUGH!!!!!!

December 9th 2022, my accrued time 'ran out' and I "Officially" RETIRED!!!!!

So what DO I do for a living now? Whatever I damn well please

Grin...In high school and college I studied geology and paleontology. I wanted to be some form of one or the other so bad I could taste it. Then life got in the way. If I had it to do over again, I think I would go into some form of paleo-anthropology.

I was just talking to a friend few weeks ago about this, he studied something similar in college, although he said he got tired of "looking through people's trash" was pretty interesting how much we learn from people long ago through things that were never meant to be records of history, shattered vase fragments, lost trinkets, thrown away bones, old fire pits and so on.
