Anyone have experience with inflatable paint booths?
I'm looking for any information/feedback on inflatable paint booths.
The paint shop said they would scuff & shoot my car for $900-$1000. When I took the car to them they started moaning about the car needed lots of work. That each panel needed to be worked and would take one day each, 8 panels! I kept telling the it was a track car, dings didn't matter, and I had already removed all the trim and windows. So I took the car back home and started working on it my self. I scuffed the whole car is about 6 hours not days! SO I figure I'll paint the car myself and am looking at the inflatable spray booths. I'm wondering if anyone has any knowledge on them and any suggestions on brands. I know all the ones in my price range are made in China. Oh well nothing I can do about that. Thanks Craig

So I purchased a portable inflatable paint booth on Amazon.
Exterior dimensions are 39'X20'. I could have saved a few bucks and purchased a smaller one but I like to have lots of room to move around in. Inflated very quickly. On one end is the garage door, I could probably get my son's sprinter in it. On the other is a prep room, its small but workable. As you can see in the pictures its BIG. Paint booth; Inside pre-paint; Inside post paint; So my conclusion is for anyone thinking about painting a car themselves it's worth it. Thanks Craig

The only dust issues were self induced. We didn't wipe down the air hose.
The entry into the prep area was a bit difficult. Because there isn't any frame the end wall bulges outward and that puts the zipper low with the wall bulging towards you. Also the prep area was a bit narrow 3' at most. The filters aren't the best, you could smell the paint outside but I didn't expect them to be perfect. All in all was worth it.
