Apparently the April 2nd debut of the Cadillac Lyriq has been postponed due to the Coronavirus scare.

Ugh...So then what are they going to do? Postpone it indefinitely?

Why not just do a public media release then? At least it keeps the excitement alive and business moving.

They are exploring the option of just doing a livestreamed reveal over the Internet. Wouldn't allow media to get up close and personal with it but everyone would get to see it.

That really is a bummer. I feel bad for all the folks that built it. It is also the premier of their new BEV3(?) platform that I guess is the latest and greatest. Truly sorry for all involved and hope they can make the best of a bad situation. God help us all.

That article says Supercharged LT4. Not sure why they would resurrect that engine unless the blackwing won't fit. It's cool but I don't really seeing it selling since the CTS-V didn't sell well with the same powetrain.

I'm simply interested in what they are going to call these "more powerful V's". I surely can't see them being called XXX-V Blackwing since that engine isn't being used.

Do we know when the official unveil will be?
