Does anyone know why when the cube touches something all the robot's are bad?

There are a few theories about that but most seem to point to the robots being feral, wild animals without self awareness at first--not evil. It kinda makes sense if you watch that scene in the first movie. One minute you're a Mountain Dew machine and the next you're alive and surround by people staring at you in a panic. Any wild animal would flip the heck out.

Or why they used the cube to kill Megatron, but to bring Optimus back to life?

There were some serious flaws with this movie, but its just a movie and I can get over them.

Loved the movies... Once, my wife asked me why Superman could fly. I told her: "You know, Sweetie, it's not a documentary". Since then, whenever something doesn't make sense in a SF movie, we share a look and repeat that...

Yes, my life loves SF and action movies even more than I do. Yes, I'm a very lucky man!
