I could probably get the guy down to $1500 or so, but I'd probably ask for new tires to pay the full $1950. As long as the trans is good and she runs well; the interior is really nice..

If I don't get a job out of school, at least it could be a little hobby while I continue my education at home (free masters anyone?) and wait a bit longer for my '11-'12-'13?. Pops is offering me a job working the new side-arm of the course's grounds ops. 3rd in command of the new residential landscaping 'corps. 12/hr.. not bad really.

Not too miffed about the future anymore, I'm talking with the rents about crashing with them post grad and they're really cool about it. They understand my situation.

..Just called the guy. It was a college girls car (his daughters). She couldn't drive it in the snow so he just needs to sell it. It's been sitting so.. Also I didn't read the odo right. It's actually got 108K miles (morning sun.. whee.).

But he sounds like he'd be willing to offload it for cheap. Most of the body work I can do myself (thank you for once, Western.)

145hp.. sounds fun. Also tires were flat from sitting in the cold. (go fig..). Wary, but it's better than that '86. Gonna drive it around next Sun/Mon. Possibly a replacement for the Monte (hoo boy did we let that go.)

So yeah.. another boondoggle.
