Don't believe so, at least none that I've seen.
Some people are seeing this as a response to the negative publicity generated from Thursday, but honestly I think Cadillac's playing us like a fiddle. There's no way this wasn't planned well in advance. Get everyone riled up over the entry level V cars then surprise them with the high performance V cars.

Yeah the high-perf cars have different fenders with vents... that wasn't done in a day.

?? I'm not sure about that. It might be an illusion due to the paint and different rear end design. Tried to take a measurement from the top of the exhaust and they seem awful close. Of course I just work up so still need my coffee.

Compared to the standard CT4-V it definitely does have a taller spoiler.

I was comparing the spoilers of the CT4-V & CT5-V shown in the pics.

This spoiler looks like it could be hiding in plain sight....It appears to be a two-part spoiler that is in the down position on the CT5 and up position on the CT4 camo'd cars....the uncamo'd pics have the spoiler/wicker bill (?) down, but it still looks like it could be two parts...operates automatically in track mode or whatever....or not...lol...

They are pleasant, but they lack the raw vibe of their predecessor CTSV. The 4 sedan looks to need some work in the rear section, and the 5 sedan I did not like the design when I first saw it, but the V treatment cleaned it up some. Both sedans, however, leave much to be desired in both looks, attitude and of course, power. Good luck to Cadillac.

I could see it really backfiring on someone that has a CTS-V and wants to trade in to a CT5-V and now with this reveal possibly moving on to something else as it's a "downgrade" from what they have now. |

I would hate to think that this is signaling the end of v8 greatness being integrated into a modern sedan. We need to appreciate the automobiles that we enjoy presently, because if this hint is correct then the days of buying a high caliber v8 sport coupe and sedan may be numbered. Its not necessarily the case that smaller engines and platforms are bad; Far from it. Its just in comparison to the raw power and excellence of the past V powered cars that makes anything other than the v8 platform seem weak.
