Exclamation R P Racing Engines out of Lenoir, NC

Has anyone on here delt with or know of anyone who has delt with R P racing engines out of Lenoir, NC ?
I have a friend who ordered a brand new crate motor from GM and the rings didn't set up real good so he got R P to go through it. His warranty was allready out because he rarely drives the truck (its in a show truck). R P said that GM has these problems with chromoly rings, and he's a GM certified warr service, for there engines (so he says)!! He supposibly put new rings, grinded the valves, new barrings, seals, ect ect..... and its still doing the same thing it was doing before the redo. My friend has now tore down the motor and has begun finding all the things R P was suppose to fix and didnt . If anyone has some more info on this guy please leave some feedback or a link to others who have had problems with him. Thanks
