I was hoping I could by December as a Christmas present to myself, buy a new Camaro paid off but now those plans seem to be on hold. I almost pretty sure I will lose my job, and if not my hours will be decreased dramatically. Hopefully I'll find a job soon. Kinda pissed but I guess thats life.

I hope the best for you. It's tough...I have a job but it's only a weekend job that isnt even a guaranteed "im gonna work today" type of job. I'm trying to find another one. It's hard just keep hoping and you'll make it through.

I am aiming to get my 2SS before my 21st b-day(jan, 8th) but my hours have been dropped to around 28 a week. thats no good but its still my goal.

There is a appropriate reason for the season and accordingly buying presents for ones self had nothing to do with it 2000+ years ago. Though I can visualize birthing a child in a straw covered trough more difficult of a situation..........overcoming the adverse conditions obviously came to pass. Yours will as well.......................keep the faith!

You got to hope for the best ,and if not you HAVE to be flexible , meaning do a lot of contacting / networking with friends and people that you now and keep an upbeat kind of mood ,and also do not stick with one kind of line of field stay focus !!!

I too had to do some serious reinventing of myself, I changed my careers becasue I lost 7 moths of work this year, had to sell the 68 just to pay bills even though I sold it mainly to use the money down on a new Camaro, now I just have to save up for it.
I moved from a $30 an hour hob to a $15 an hour job but this new one is fairly secure, sometimes you just got to be willing to take things down a notch and roll with the punches. Things aren't getting any better in this economy and in fact I see them getting worse so start now and reinvent yourself and be willing to what ever it takes to get whatever is offered.
I know I am making less but I have a lot of good friends in the construction trade that I was in telling me that I made a very wise decision by getting out and into the medical field.
I am still planning on getting my Camaro and now solid plans are being made to shoot for the middle of next year.
