Help me pick a phone!

i dont know what phone to get! im looking into these two phones! keep in mind i have t-mobile so yeah

okay the most expensive but brand new...T-mobile Mytouch Slide 3G. its a new phone. i would get it brand new! and i would have to upgrade my phone and get a new contracted with tmobile. my sister upgraded her phone so it doesnt really matter about the contract..

OR!

Iphone3GS. i would have to unlocked it and jailbrake it. which is easy for my to do. ive done it before for other friends! so that isnt a problem.

My gf has the MyTouch and I think it is awesome. I never really liked the Iphones, but thats just my preference and everyone I see has an Iphone so I would want to be different. Which feels more comfortable in your hand and function wise?

That is really a silly argument. Just because because everyone has an Iphone is no reason to not use such an amazing piece of technology. There is no other hand set on the market that blends form, function, elegance, and ease of use in one splendid package.

For all those that argue that the Iphone sucks, I will defer you to Apples sales numbers for the Iphone 1g,2g,3g,3gs ,and 4G. Google it.

Iphone 3GS for the win.

The iPhone is absolutely amazing, I can't imagine not having it now. It has been an excellent tool for someone trying to run a 24 hour business.

get an unbroken iPhone4 I ordered mine, cant wait for it to get here! And if you can't get it then get an iPhone 3GS...also does the my touch run on windows mobile?

I wouldn't jump on that band wagon yet, Consumer Reports can't even recommend it.

The iPhone 4 is plagued with antenna issues right now. If you use a "bumper" case or any other case that covers the side, then its not as prevalent.

On T-Mobile, the best 2 phones available would be the myTouch 3G and the HTC HD2. The HD2 has some pretty good reviews, the only downside is that it runs WindowsPhone which can be clunky compared to Android. It has more features and a bigger screen / faster processor than the myTouch 3G though.

Your best bet is to go in to a store and try them out. See which one you like best. If you want an iPhone, wait a few months to see what Apple does with the antenna issues of the iPhone 4. I wouldn't get an iPhone 3GS since its already obsolete.

T-Mobile should be getting the new samsung galaxy phone as all the 4 major carriers are. I'll be getting the Captivate which is the AT&T version when it comes out on Sunday. Forget what they call the T-Mobile one, but they are supposed to be pretty decent phones and are $199 which seems to be the asking price these days.

I personally don't understand how anyone could pick anything but an iPhone. I've owned 3 out of the 4 generations (1st gen, 3GS & 4) and I will NEVER own any other brand......that goes for computers too! I switched to Mac's about 8 months ago and I will NEVER buy another Windows based POS again!
