Just putting "world's #1" is really misleading here. Before I clicked on the links I kept asking myself "VW is the world's #1 what?" and "GM is still the world's #1 what?"
Top automaker is good for profit margins I guess, but I'd rather have the title "world's safest car". |

1) Toyota does make boring cars
2) VW makes fun cars. But their reliability is constantly rated near the bottom among other manufacturers.

That was VW of old.....VW since adding on Porshe to their family knows the importance of reliabilty.I think they learned a costly mistake a few years ago.
